Background and Education

I launched my private practice in December 2015. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Internationally Certified Problem Gambling Counselor, and a Substance Use Disorder Professional. I grew up in Kent and went to undergraduate school at The University of Washington. I continued to Seattle University for graduate school where I received my Master's in Education, with a focus in Community Counseling. After UW, I worked for 7 years at Asian Counseling and Referral Service. I also volunteered on the King County Crisis Line. I spent 3 years in Maui, HI working with individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities and individuals with chronic mental health illnesses.

As a foundation, I am a person-centered and multicultural counselor and use additional eclectic techniques. I specialize in gambling counseling, and am interested in working primarily with adults, individuals and couples with relationship issues, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, gambling issues, trauma.

Fees for Service

I am in network with Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente and Cigna. I am able to bill out of network with additional insurance companies, the coverage varies with each individual plan.

I offer 30 min. free telephone consultations.

My hourly rate is $180.
